Our Story

KinderNoggin began in 2011 with a simple goal: to create a childcare experience that is warm, purposeful, and focused on learning. It started when childcare provider Wanda Wolfe partnered with a parent in her home program. Together, they built a school that combines the comfort of family childcare with the structure and educational quality of a center.

Families want a place that is safe, nurturing, and joyful. They want an environment that supports healthy social, academic, and physical growth. KinderNoggin was created to meet those needs. We are not a daycare. We are a child-centered learning community, and we are committed to excellence.

Mission

Our program’s mission is to offer a unique alternative to traditional childcare in which children experience engaged care in an educationally rich environment. Through intentional play, children learn in measurable ways. We are not merely babysitting children; our program is challenging, stimulating, and inspires thought-provoking qualities and character.

Philosophy

Our approach is grounded in the belief that children learn best through active, hands-on engagement, guided by intentional and developmentally appropriate materials and activities. We strive to provide an environment that encourages creative expression,
high-quality learning experiences, and the development of a positive self-image.

We believe children learn best by doing. Our classrooms are full of hands-on activities and age-appropriate materials that keep kids engaged and curious. We create a space where children can explore, be creative, and build confidence while learning new skills.

Surveillance Tools

At KinderNoggin, we value each parent's concerns for their children's safety and belongings.

Cameras

We have Cameras in each Classroom, on each Playground, and all around the facility.

Brightwheel

Brightwheel enhances communication between our staff and families by ensuring everyone stays informed about program activities and the well-being of students. We use the platform to share updates, announcements, and details about special events so that all members of our school community can remain engaged and involved.

Bio:
I have been in early childhood education for 27 years. I am currently working on a Master's in Education. I am a proud retired veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.

I started as a family childcare provider, earning 5 Stars and Accreditation for my program, known as Little Princess Childcare. With the prompting of a parent in my family childcare program, I went on to co-start a center in 2011 known as KinderNoggin.

I love the innocence of children and how they are so willing to learn new concepts. I also love how they show affection and forgiveness. We can learn so much from them. Seeing the children master new milestones drives my work in the Early Childhood Field. I’d like to think that this is my way of touching the future.

Bio:
My journey as a teacher started at a young age, often playing “classroom” with my dolls in the backyard. Even then, I knew I wanted to teach. 22 years later, I began my career in education, teaching 3rd grade for 2 years.

I began my career in education teaching 3rd grade for 2 years. Since 2011, I have been part of KinderNoggin, supporting children and families from the very beginning of the center’s journey. I believe every child deserves a strong start where they receive encouragement and recognition for their progress.

In my role, I work closely with teachers and families to support each child’s development through clear communication. I also help maintain a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and supported. I am currently continuing my education at Western Governors University. I am focused on expanding my knowledge in early childhood development to better serve the children in our care.
